Summary
Rigel Video Suite incorporates open-source software components. Those components are licensed by their authors under their own terms and are not relicensed under Tech Rigel’s EULA. All required copyright notices and license texts of distributed dependencies are preserved and made available with the app release.
FFmpeg and media codecs
Rigel Video Suite uses FFmpeg for on-device media processing. FFmpeg is licensed under the LGPL, and specific configurations that include additional components (for example, x264) are licensed under the GPL. The exact FFmpeg build shipped with a release, and the licenses of every included codec, are documented in the notices bundled with that release.
Applicable FFmpeg license texts are reproduced in the app’s in-app licenses screen and, where required by the license, are made available for download. Source code that must be provided under a copyleft license will be made available through the request process below.
Flutter and Dart packages
Rigel Video Suite is built with Flutter and Dart and includes Flutter/Dart packages from public package registries. The full set of packages and their licenses is generated from the release lockfile and published with the app. It is not a hand-picked subset.
Scope of the license grant
The EULA and Terms of Service apply only to Tech Rigel’s own code, branding, UI, and content. They do not restrict or override rights granted to you by open-source licenses that apply to bundled components.
