Rigel Video Suite End User License Agreement

1. Parties

This End User License Agreement (“EULA”) is entered into between you and Tech Rigel. It is not entered into with Google or with Apple.

2. License grant

Tech Rigel grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, personal license to install and use Rigel Video Suite on Android devices that you own or control, subject to applicable app-store usage rules and family-sharing rules where they apply.

3. No sale or transfer of ownership

Rigel Video Suite is licensed, not sold. Tech Rigel and its licensors retain all right, title, and interest in and to the app, except for open-source components licensed under their own terms.

4. Lawful use and content rights

You must use the app in accordance with applicable law and must have the rights necessary for any media you select, modify, distribute, or share.

5. Restrictions

You must not disrupt the app, modify it to introduce malicious behavior, redistribute it without authorization, or circumvent its licensing, except to the extent that applicable open-source license rights or legally non-waivable reverse-engineering rights allow you to do so. 6. Updates

Updates may replace or supplement the app. Some updates may be required in order to continue using the app or specific features.

7. No guarantees on availability or output

The app does not guarantee availability, codec support, processing speed, output size, output quality, or compatibility with any particular device, format, or downstream application.

8. Keep originals and verify outputs

You are responsible for keeping original files and verifying outputs before using them.

9. Privacy

Personal information is handled as described in the Rigel Video Suite Privacy Policy.

10. Third-party services and open-source components

Third-party services (including Firebase and Google Play) and open-source components are governed by their own respective terms and licenses.

11. Termination

This license ends automatically if you materially breach it. You may terminate the license at any time by uninstalling the app.

12. Warranty and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the app is provided “as is,” and Tech Rigel’s warranty and liability are limited as set out in the Terms of Service. Consumer rights that cannot legally be limited are not affected.

13. Export and sanctions compliance

You must comply with applicable export-control and sanctions laws. You represent that you are not located in a country subject to a comprehensive U.S. government embargo and that you are not on any U.S. government prohibited or restricted party list.

15. Google Play terms

Google is not a party to this EULA and is not responsible for support, warranties, or claims regarding Rigel Video Suite. Your use of Google Play is also governed by the applicable Google Play terms.

16. Apple App Store terms (reserved for future iOS release)

Rigel Video Suite is currently distributed on Android only. When and if an iOS release is prepared, this EULA will be reviewed and updated before submission to the Apple App Store. The following minimum acknowledgements are noted for that future release and are not currently binding on any Android user:

• The EULA is between the user and Tech Rigel, not Apple.
• Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the app.
• To the extent a warranty legally applies and the app fails to conform, the user may notify Apple for any applicable purchase-price refund; to the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation.
• Tech Rigel, not Apple, is responsible for product, legal, regulatory, consumer-protection, and intellectual-property claims concerning the app.
• Users represent they are not located in a U.S.-embargoed country or on prohibited or restricted-party lists.
• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries and may enforce the EULA against the user.
• If no custom EULA is submitted in App Store Connect, Apple’s Standard EULA applies. Apple’s Standard EULA is available at apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/. This website page does not automatically replace Apple’s Standard EULA.
